AEC EXTENSION OF PROSPECTUS OFFER

Advanced Engine Components Limited (“AEC” or “the Company”) has issued a Prospectus to raise $3.5 million.

The Offer had been due to close at 5pm today (10 December 2004). The Board of the Company, in conjunction with D.J. Carmichael Pty Limited (the Lead Manager), has resolved to extend the Closing Date of the Offer for a further period of two weeks to Friday, 24 December 2004.

The priority right to existing shareholders of the Company under the Prospectus is also extended for the same period to Friday, 24 December 2004.
