Senior government officials from Shandong Province of the People’s Republic of China visited the research and development unit of Perth-based Advanced Engine Components Ltd (AEC) today. Led by Vice-Governor of the Shandong Provincial People’s Government, His Excellency Mr. Wang Ren Yuan, the group inspected AEC development work being carried out on a range of engines from France, Germany and, most notably, China.

$12 MILLION EXPORT CONTRACT

Innovative Australian engine systems company, Advanced Engine Components Limited (ASX code: ACE), announced the signing of an initial $12 million, 3½ year contract to supply natural gas engine systems to the Irisbus consortium in France.

AEC ENGINE BEATS WORLD EMISSION STANDARD

ASX listed Advanced Engine Components Limited, today announced its significant program with Renault Vehicle Industriels (RVI) and IRIS.BUS has been successful in achieving exhaust emissions to meet EURO IV/I standards at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (EMPA) in Zurich, beating the stringent EURO III standard that is the industry standard until 2005.
